Oil leaks within 2 weeks

The oil leaks was spotted during my visit at Motortiam. So I will need to bring back to Mah in the morning because it's Saturday and it's the only day of the week they entertain walk ins...

Effective June 2019 onwards, Mah servicing by appointment or walk-ins on Saturday, First come first serve...

So here I am to be early when they just open...

The leaks found here and here...

Bobby came , we have breakfast and few hours later, they claim the screws need more tightening only, to monitor during my new few rides... I rode off happily knowing I can join the supper ride tonight.

Camera and Horn Part 2

Continue from
Camera and Horn Part 1

Came back the next day to check  the progress of the addons and to see if I could ride my bike back.
The camera is already up, but the horn ran out of stock, so Chong was busy and only had it later near evening. Despite his 100% attention on my bike, he couldn't find a good location to put the horn. I wanted to leave the bike 1 more day for him to put up the horn, but I had to go back to Mah motor for a warranty issue and I found some oil leaks earlier.

Camera and horn Part 1

Here in Singapore, camera and horn is very important. We are famous for our "driving/riding". When accident happens, sometimes people don't tell the truth to avoid paying or earning earning some extra cash from it. Footage of the accident will come in very useful in times like these.

The horn upgrade is  a must for me :
1. To alert dangers to those who are blasting music in their cabin of the car/ earphone / dreamers /  on hands free call.
2. Normal horns cant reach new cares with better sound proofing.
3.They careless the riders since the size of their car/van/bus/trucks are much bigger
4. Scare the shit out of pedestrian J-walking or walking slowly with their head fixed on their phones.
5. Alert the road bullies
6. IDK... make vulgar words alike tune?

So This is my first time coming to the famous bike shop that my riding group has been talking about.
Motor Tiam ( also means bike shop in Singlish or the dialect : hokkien)

Chong was there to recive me, I already told him what I wanted over whatsapp and I left my bike for the addons while I left for home

Star key for the fork reflectors

Did I mention how ugly the reflectors looked on the bike? I was hunting everywhere for the star allen key, even ordered a small set online only to realise that I have the exact right size in my office drawer ....

Shine tiger shine!

I was eager to dress up the tiger little, so I made time to Aunty sticker shop to have the word Tiger decal up with reflective material.

The word is now slightly bolder.

Since I was near MotoWorld Concept branch, I've decided to get the communications unit UCLEAR AMP GO, packaged at 2 for 290. Not a bad deal.

Of couse I've also gotten myself the hand phone mount so I could use and read the GPS on the go. I've gotten a china brand that looks like RAM mount, but since the X-holder was the wrong size, I've decided to buy the brand RAM mount holder piece hoping it wont lose the grip og my phone in higher speed.

Looks like to much accessories for 1 day ๐Ÿ˜‚

1st meet up

Who knows the first meet up would as soon as less than 48 hours after collecting my new bike!  My prevoius riding kakis decided to have late dinner at Punggol Nasi Lemak!

I wasn't used to eating this late at 10-11pm, so I didn't order anything but just chat. There was about 8 of us in total. There were old and new face among the group. We also brought our passport in case we were going to have a quick petrol run to Malaysia. In the end only bobby and I was going in.

Otw, charlie took a photo of us. Look! Bobby is there too!

Riding the new bike on the expressway to Tuas check point, brought back so much memories of my previous ride on my Hayabusa. I used to ride with these same kakis into Mayalsia together for petrol runs. 10 years later today. We're doing it again!

Upon reaching the custom, I look like a total noob. Not sure what to do at the new machines, took a while to read the instruction and figuring out what to do resulting the impatient honing from frequent Malaysian riders behind - rushing me to speed up my process. It was a little humiliating. But the next time I would know how and be faster!

Once we reached the Malaysia custom, the process was the same except now, both side riders don't need to pay anymore! This is getting better!

After clearing the custom, Bobby waited for me and rode patiently with me, guiding me to the U-turn at 312C exit. Now, the sign shows "LEGOLAND". Returning back and stop over at  the petrol station Petron. Booby was excited, he told me he was surprised I chose to do the "hard run in" He didn't have to ride slowly like how he did with some of his friends.

I treated him the inexpensive (MAGNUM). The ice cream was damage but still ediable.

I was surprised 2 more riders from the supper came along . Wasn't aware until now. Chatting abit and we went back home after that.

Bringing the Matt Tiger home!

It was the starting of school holiday month, everyone was in holiday mood. Our spirits were high and I had a weekend of fun with my family at a Chalet which ended yesterday , but fun hasn't ended for me. In fact, it has just began and shouldn't last so soon, probably foor a long time! I'm going to bring my tiger home! And will be having lots of fun ride on it!

I was excited when I reached MAH noon today, Bobby was there for this moment as well! What a friend! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

When I reached level 2 , the showroom. My new bike was display under the sport lights, on the side of the counter wall was a warm welcome message. Rylee from Mah was nice, he arranged for it and made customers (me in this case) felt valued and appreciated. In face Rylee has been patient with me, I've mae countless request and queries to him, he was humble and tried his best in everyway for me.
Please look for Rylee if you visit Mah motors and needed guidance on the products there.

This photo went into social media, welcome message in the photo:

Well, Who knows after photo taking, the proccess takes a while. They needed to sort out more paperwork like transfering the ownership of the bike to me, putting up side panniers, final checks etc...

After what seems like hours...it's time to ride off!!!
Ohh, bobby was there too! Thanks for the photo bro!

He suggested for me to get the top box before going home, the one I didn't order from Mah motor before. I thought it was a good idea too, Since Regina was nearby and they sell Kappa box at afforadable price.

So I was going to ride home with 2 boxes, but ended up with 3!. The challenge here is, I've not been riding for almost 10 years, the balacing of the bike during peak hours is indeed the challenge! These boxes are not empty!, some big free gifts , rain coat/bag and other stuff!
